*It is ideal to start this style on stretched hair in order to achieve a sleeker finish.
- Cut the bubble wrap into your desired size
- Create a section starting in the front. Remember, the smaller the section, the smaller the curl. The bigger the section, the bigger the curl.
- Apply the African Pride Butter Miracle Bouncy Curls Pudding to the section, finger detangle, and then gently detangle with the rat tail comb. Detangling prior to using the bubble wrap will impart a smoother finish.
- Roll the pre-cut cut bubble wrap into the shape of a roller with the bubbly side folding inward.
- Extend the detangled section away from the scalp, hold it taut, and place the bubble wrap roller at the ends.
- Tightly roll the section upward toward the scalp.
- Secure the section with a bobby pin. In order to avoid tension on your edges, do not secure the bobby pin along the hairline.
- Wrap the style with a satin scarf so it can set overnight. Using a bonnet can create friction against the exposed hair.
- Release the style in the morning! Do not spritz with water, as it may cause the style to lose its integrity.
