I Tried The Keratin Complex Treatment!
By · Updated October 4, 2010

Along with embracing my curls, I have learned to embrace my pale skin and ginger hair color. After years of dying my locks blond, brown, and in several instances (on accident, of course”> yellow and near-black, I have finally taken the advice of friends and family and have come to terms with my hair color. This is all fine and dandy, but there is a bigger issue at stake: Can we gingers wear red?

All my life I have shied away from so many color options because of my hair. Always on the safe side, I have bought black, white, and gray as my staple wardrobe pieces. Now that the new fashion season is upon us, it has me thinking that I can throw out all of my preconceived notions about what I can wear. Lady-like looks are all over the place, as well as 70s-inspired rocker chic looks. We are finally seeing more models with texture in their hair and more contrasting hair colors.

Some of my favorite redheads:

Funny girl Isla Fisher—no wonder Sasha Barren Cohen snatched her up!
