My Experience: OMG. I’ve been using it in place of shea butter to braid my hair at night. It smells like syrupy pancakes, and looks nothing like the pic above. It’s beige in color and resembles shea… it literally looks like an old school pomade. If you’re into sweet smells, you’ll love this, plus it lingers! You’ll literally want to eat your hair, lol.
I scoop out a teeny bit and apply it to each section prior to braiding (dry hair”>– it’s solid at room temp but melts as soon as it’s in your hands. I also add a little extra to the ends before rolling. In the morning when I release the braids, my hair is soft, yet strong, and ridiculously shiny. This is a must try!
