Texture on the Runway was a spectacular NYFW 2017 event, replete with glitz, glamour, and impeccable style!
Texture on the Runway, hosted by NaturallyCurly and powered by Sally Beauty, is the ultimate fashion show for international hair, beauty, and fashion brands. Featuring a new take on braids, Afros, and protective styles, the world’s favorite beauty brand SheaMoisture dazzled the runway with its Braid Revvolution!
Hair styles featured in this showcase were designed by Master Stylist and SheaMoisture Brand Ambassador Diane C. Bailey. Bailey co-MC’d the showcase with living style legend and image activist Michaela angela Davis.
All models wore Chid Liberty’s UNIFORM brand designs. The outfits are a direct reflection of the SheaMoisture Community Commerce program that empowers women in international communities to thrive.

Surprise: It’s Loc’d Finger Waves!
This look is pure magic. Fingerwaves are typically seen in non-loc’d and baby hairs-territory. This look is a true revelation. As the seashell accents flow through the locs, the TOR audience was delighted by the merging of loc texture and fingerwaves. This stunning look was styled by Jennifer Lord of @naturalhollywood.
