You may have already heard the buzz in the curly world about the new EverCurl line from L’Oreal Paris. It is their first ever Sulfate-Free Curl Care System dedicated solely to curls, coils and waves, just one more sign of the serious momentum in the curl revolution! We caught up with the L’Oreal team behind the scenes at their EverCurl video shoot and got a sneak peek into the glamorous world of L’Oreal Paris.
The models
Of course we’re fans of a great head of hair (have you seen our Facebook page?”>, so it was extra exciting to see the models arrive, fresh-faced for an early call time. There were three models, one wavy, one curly and one coily, all had gorgeous hair. This is Saraya, whose curls have been natural all her life!
The stylist
We loved watching L’Oreal Paris hair expert Johnny Lavoy work his magic on the models’ curls, and asked him how he came to love curly hair.
“I’m very familiar with curly hair because I myself have curly hair, and all my family has curly hair.” said Lavoy. “That’s actually how I learned to style hair!”
The products
We’ve all been trying out the EverCurl products here at the NaturallyCurly.com office and we each have our favorites, so it was fun to see them in action on set.
The techniques
We got to interview the models about their hair routines and their biggest hair challenges, and then watched as hair expert Johnny Lavoy transformed their curls, coils and waves.
