So we had to ask her about her Holy Grails of course, and it turns out there’s just one product that has her heart, and this is why it’s better than all the rest.
What is your Holy Grail product?
Hands down Kinky Curly Knot Today.
What is your hairtype?
I have super fine, high porosity hair that is a mix of Type 3a and 3b, and it took a lot of experimenting for me to find what works and what doesn’t work for me.
Do you stick to this favorite or are you constantly trying new products?*
After months of stalking videos and reviews, I gave in. I was a little late to the party, but now that I’ve found it I honestly feel like I don’t need anything else. I had an entire roster of other products before Knot Today and now they’re all on the back burner. Most of the products I’ve used, I “liked” however none have crossed over to “love,” until Knot Today.

What do you look for in a product?
For the most part I try to stick to products that are water based and/or contain natural ingredients, and I like to limit the amount of products I use in my routine to avoid hard and weighed down curls. I love soft curls, so the less I use the better most of the time.
How do you apply this to your hair?
On wash nights I rake through a generous quarter sized amount of Knot Today through my hair, then scrunch the curls up at the bottom to make sure it’s moisturized enough. I then seal my hair with a tiny bit of a grape seed/almond oil mixture, go to sleep, and wake up to perfectly defined, soft, semi voluminous hair (most of the time”> in the morning.
Bonus Curl Refresher:
My hair on average lasts roughly 3 days before all of the frizz takes over and my head demands another wash, but for day two and day three hair I spritz a mixture of water and Knot Today to give my hair a refresher.
